Uses as a Drug

Denavir is a prescription topical medication used for the treatment of recurrent cold sores (herpes labialis) on the lips and face. This topical antiviral medication is formulated solely for the use of adults.

Apply Denavir on the infected area every two hours during your wake time hours. Use the medication for four days. Make sure you use a clean finger or a cotton swab. Wash your hands before and after application. Use soap and water when washing off the cream both to prevent the spreading of infection and to prevent contact with eyes and with other easily irritated areas.
